my online phantasy

.

my online phantasy was a performative installation, taking place both as a physical space and a virtual mediated space.

A video loop with a camera, greenscreen and a livestream was setup during the course of 3 days.

Visitors could interact by playing music, playing videogames while being recorded for other visitors to sit down in a second couch behind a big TV, transmitting the show, a slight delay and echoing of the performative space they all inhabited. I was interested in this weird space where nothing really happens and yet seems like it it full of potential.

Inspired by the recent development of “livestreaming” at the time, I was curious how this new technology was going to define our future human interactions, on and off, between and outside the mediated realities of the internet.
